Besides awards
for its leaders, Bank Mandiri was also awarded in the “best investor
relationship website” and “best investor relationship company” categories.

awards mean that the bank has been applying the principles of good
governance," Zulkifli Zaini told journalists on the sidelines of the award
ceremony on Friday.
He that said in
order to maintain the principles of good governance, good examples on the part
of company leaders were required.
Pahala said the
awards were a reminder that the bank had to maintain its award-winning
standards.
"We still
have many things to achieve; opening more microfinance outlets and penetrating the
retail business being among them," he said.
He said the bank
planned to open 300 microfinance outlets nationwide this year.
